The Future of Librarianship
This semester has been filled with lots of valuable information that I know will be beneficial for me as I continue through this program. One thing I found interesting from this week’s module that I would love to implement is the “Hour of Code” event that was discussed in the, “2,445 hours of code”, article. This was a wonderful idea and a cool way to introduce coding to students. Coding has become a popular activity in school library makerspaces. It’s so ironic, because for the longest, I have been looking for different coding resources and activities for my library makerspace area and coding events that the library could host.
